Assessing the Performance of Farmers’ Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Varieties for Yield and Its Attributing Traits under Organic Cultivation

Background: The local cultivars and farmers’ plant varieties have good yield potential under a minimal input system. Therefore, the present investigation was carried out to assess performance of wheat in Gandhinagar, Gujarat condition organic cultivation during November-March (winter season) 2015-16 2016-17.
 Study Design Methodology: field experiments were constituted Randomized Complete Block having three replications fifteen treatments comprising twelve checks. observations on its attributing traits recorded.
 Results: pooled data analyzed over both years showed that variety Mohit Gold found significantly superior terms spike length (15.33 cm) number spikelets per (22.97) among all tests checks years.
